Finished Alphabet (finally)

So I finally finished my Alphabet of Obscure Animals, here they all are together.  Soon they will be available from my Etsy shop as cards and flashcards.

I had a bit of a rethink about my alphabet the other day and decided to simplify the illustrations and get rid of the outlines as well as getting rid of the texture as it made them look too busy.  I’ve now nearly finished the whole thing!  Just V,X and Y to do!

These are some illustrations based on Vivienne Westwood’s 2013 Autumn/Winter collection.  I really like the dresses so I decided to keep the illustrations really simple and focus on the lines of the clothing.

Children’s Illustration

My mum works in a primary school and asked me to illustrate some short stories about listening skills for the children.  The illustrations are my  own but the stories come from a pack of school supplies.

A recent trip to Flamborough Head inspired me to do some lighthouse illustrations.  They’re all done using the pen tool, line tool and shape tool in Illustrator.
